On behalf of the Organizing Committee, we would like to invite you to the 3rd Singapore Synchrotron Light Source (SSLS) Open House. The Open House offers a great opportunity to discover and learn about electron accelerators, synchrotron radiation and its applications in science and engineering. Particularly, for students, PhD candidates, and post-docs it presents an ideal chance to explore the facility for your research and career.

The Singapore Synchrotron Light Source (SSLS) comprises a compact superconducting storage ring with 700 MeV electron energy and 4.5 Tesla magnetic fields to produce synchrotron radiation with a characteristic photon energy of 1.47 keV or characteristic wavelength of 0.845 nm. The useful X-ray spectrum extends from about 10 keV down to the far infrared at wave numbers of less than 10 cm-1
